During Term 1 you will study the Cold War and the American Civil Rights movement 1945 to 1975. Throughout the course you will practice certain skills that are essential to any historian.

The Political Spectrum
In order for students to grasp the differences between communism and capitalism it is necessary for them to understand the political spectrum. By completing the survey below students will find out where they sit on the political spectrum. As an extension activity students could be instructed to compete the form again from the perspective of a communist or capitalist.
